Automobile repairs, unfortunally, are a fact of life. Super 6 Tokyo is equipped to handle almost ANY type of repair from  the replacement of a faulty engine sensor to a complete installation of a new engine or transmission. A few common repairs are listed below along with an illustration of the component(s) involved.

01

SUSPENSION

Does the front end of your vehicle bounce or dip down as you apply the brakes? If so, it may be time for new shocks. Other symptoms of worn shocks include:

  • Longer stopping distances. Ineffective shocks can increase stopping distance by as much as 20%.

  • A vibration in your steering wheel.

  • Uneven tire wear. Check each tire for premature or inconsistent wear, such as bald spots.

  • Your car shakes or bounces more than usual as you drive over railroad tracks and bumps in the road.

  • The vehicle “slides” from side to side as you take corners or change lanes.

If you suspect a problem with your shocks or any other component of your suspension system, have it checked as soon as possible. Worn shocks and struts will stress your vehicle’s suspension and steering components and may even ruin tires. This can lead to more extensive and costly repairs.

02

TIMING BELT

A timing belt, timing chain, or cambelt is a part of an internal combustion engine that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft and the camshaft(s) so that the engine's valves open and close at the proper times during each cylinder's intake and exhaust strokes. ... A timing chain is a roller chain. Replacing a worn timing belt is a critically impoprtant since a broken belt could cause the valves to impact the top of the piston head causing  serious engine damage.

03

COOLING SYSTEM

Heating and A/C systems may break eventually with usage, hose pipes may clog and drip if not serviced, causing reduced efficiency heating and cooling capabilities. Regular maintenance will keep your AC system operating at peak performance!

We use our state of the Art Robinair AC Machine.  It evacuates the system, removes the old oils and adds new oils to keep the system working properly and adding longer life to the AC system.  It then re-fills the system to the manufacturer specifications for each vehicle. This assures seals are NOT blown do to over filling the system as many over the counter fillers can do making for costly repairs.

04

TUNE UP

A tune up generally includes replacement of several parts on your car. These parts may seem superficial, but failing to replace them regularly can cause decreased performance in your car, and may even lead to other problems. For example, an air filter should be replaced at least once a year; failing to replace it when it's dirty will cause your engine to get less and less of the air it needs to run properly. If the problem is left unattended, the air-fuel mixture will continue to run richer and richer —- meaning that there will be too much fuel and not enough air in the mixture —- and eventually cause other parts to fail..

05

BRAKE REPAIRS

Brake pad problems can usually be identified by squealing brakes. If your brake pads deteriorate completely, you'll hear a grinding metal-on-metal sound when braking, meaning that it's too late and you're ruining your rotors or drums! See us immediately if you have these issues.  Having to replace the rotors/drums can be costly compared to a pad slap.
